    Statement of JOB OBJECTIVE on Rèsume:

      I LOVE my work in eBooks and publishing for digital environments. I am seeking to upgrade my position in digital, Internet, and/or communications technologies, and to more fully incorporate my successful backgrounds in digital creative, research, eBusiness, and publishing into my daily work. I have held several positions requiring strong project management and team leadership skills. My academic path has included much experience in online learning environments and instructional and interface design, as well as the evolution of electronic publishing in newsletters, 'ezines, and interactive, informational web sites.

      I desire a position that will offer opportunities to implement higher levels of software and Internet-application development. Along with a successful creative history, I have a strong computer science foundation, utilizing a broad variety of software and tools. Several of my primary interests are: eBooks and digital publishing, Multimedia, User Interface, Animation, digital "interactivity," eCommerce, Internet security and digital copyright, and keeping pace with all state-of-the-art changes in technology and global economy.

  • WebWerx is a digital gathering of works. It contains examples from my work history, such as Lucent Technologies, USWest, and many years' examples from freelance projects. It also is the location for all undergraduate examples from Metropolitan State College of Denver, and Master's studies from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. There are many examples of:
    • Scholarly writing, especially concerning multimedia and the Web
    • Animation
    • Web design and techniques
    • Graphics, Illustration
    WebWerx mainly covers the period of time of undergraduate through Master's studies, July 1995 through December 1999. It also covers many years of freelance and in-house works, some ranging back to the 1980s, and which have been digitized for use in more current projects.

  • FreeAgent has been an enormous online tool for me, both professionally as well as academically. It primarily served to help me begin to organize my many years of experience, tie it to the recent five years of academic pursuit, and present it all in a more consolidated manner.

    While the occasional contact by a possible company, inquiring after my qualifications for a position, has been wonderful — the BEST result of FreeAgent has been the interaction with peers in the technologies. The feedback and support of like-minded people with comparable skills, have been the most productive results of my listing on FreeAgent.
