It is an honor for me to forward this letter of
recommendation for Leanne Boyd., who has submitted application for the
following positions: Professor of Office Technology/Business, Professor of
Office Technology/Computer Information Systems, and Dean of Business and
Technology. While I attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online, I had
the great fortune of having her as one of my instructors. Of all of the
instructors that I have experienced at The Art Institute, East Texas State
University, and Texas Woman’s University, she emerges at the apex of quality
instruction and overall giftedness as an instructor and leader.

The qualities which render her the cream of the
crop are her impeccable organizational skills, dedication to her position and
her students, desire for quality, her innate gift in dealing with people, and
her quality management of the classroom, while providing encouragement and
individualized attention to distinct student needs. What is so unique about
her and my experience with her an instructor, is that it was an online class.
For these qualities to shine so generously online is an outstanding
compliment to Leanne.

Ms. Boyd maintains the utmost standards in
leadership, and exemplifies outstanding attention to her responsibilities in
her position. Without doubt, as I experienced, she possesses a high level of
competency in many different fields of study. Her initiative and careful
instructional planning ability would be a great asset to any potential
employer. Ms. Boyd possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in regard to
the educational process, and exhibits a wonderful ability to motivate and
encourage each individual student. There appeared to be a continual process
of assessment and structuring as was indicated in the classroom.

In addition to all of the above assets that I experienced
with Ms. Boyd, her personal character was stellar. I am a counselor and
believe that I can evaluate personal characteristics rather well. Without
doubt, her personal integrity is outstanding... Whether in a major leadership
position with extensive responsibility, or a position with less
responsibility, she will be 100% at all times. She has powerful people skills
and a great ability to join with those around her quite quickly and
effectively. This ability is not often found in many people, and is a
necessity in working effectively in organizational structure.
