User Interface Design | ||
| The User Interface is the connection between the computer that
holds the client's information and the user. This hands-on course will
develop your skills as you learn how to produce web sites that are
constructed based on sound design principles. In this course you will
learn the design principles associated with web usability and the human
visual-perceptual system. Through the course you will develop and design
web pages that account for different capabilities in web browsers, browser
versions and platforms. To provide visual consistency throughout a web
site, you will learn how to create templates and common interface design
elements (navigation scheme, icons, buttons) to streamline your web pages
as well as provide visual consistency and ease of use and maintenance.
Also, you will learn how to design web sites for Accessibility and
